While tidying last summer I came across a little window that had seen better days. After looking at countless before and after jobs on Design Sponge I felt inspired to do my own project. I decided it would make an interesting door for a wall mounted cupboard.
Firstly I striped it back, removing old paint, putty and remaining bits of glass (as shown in the photos above). I then sealed it with matte acrylic varnish.
I asked my brother (a much better carpenter than me!)to make up the main part of the cupboard with leftover floorboards and panelling. He also cut new glass panes for the window. I will post some more photos soon hopefully!
